Bookmobile Outreach Program
To many, a bookmobile is a required provision of a public library, But did you know that many of Kentucky's Public Libraries do not even have a bookmobile?
We received our new bookmobile December 10th, 2009, just in time for the Christmas parade. Cheri and the rest of the staff are very excited about it, and the new bookmobile has been received rather warmly by the citizens of Franklin and Simpson County! Many thanks to the Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives and the Rowena Sullivan Estate.
The bookmobile is a valuable resource for those who aren't able to get around very well. Cheri serves the outlying areas of Simpson County, particularly in the Gold City, Price's Mill, Rapids, and Sulphur Springs areas. To request a stop in your area, please send an e-mail to Cheri for consideration.
