Fine Forgiveness & Policy

Effective April 1, 2010

ONE TIME ONLY

All accumulated fines, to date, will be forgiven with the EXCEPTION of fees accumulated for lost materials.

The NEW MAXIMUM FINE LIMIT will be $5.00.

Once the fine limit of $5.00 is reached, the fine MUST BE PAID IN FULL before any other services or materials may be checked out. Patrons with Lost Item Fees will have to replace the item or pay $5.00 EACH TIME until the lost items are paid off.

Fines & Renewals

DVD fines are $1.00 per day, per DVD. All other library material fines are $0.05 per day per item.

You CANNOT RENEW DVDs

You CANNOT RENEW items that have HOLDS. Holds are items that someone else has requested.

Renewable items may be renewed up to 3 times. This will give a patron a total of 8 weeks to read and use the chosen material, if needed. At the end of this time, fines will accumulate until the item is returned to the library for use by other patrons.
