Friends of the Goodnight Memorial Library (FOL)

The Friends of the Goodnight Memorial Library is a volunteer organization that raises funds to support the improvement of the Library by purchasing items not in the Library's budget.

Our Purpose

• Make direct gifts of material and equipment
• Provide volunteer help for book sales
• Sponsor special programs and events
• Raise community awareness of our Library's achievements and needs

Funds are raised through Book Sales and the Book Corner. The Book Sales happen in the Spring and Fall. The Book Corner is located at the front entrance of the Library, and from there you can purchase new and/or slightly used books.

Book Drive - The Goodnight Library will take your donation of books all year long. Your donations supply the books for book sales, the Book Corner, the hospital, industries, the jail, and to our soldiers overseas.

What do volunteers do?

• Serve as cashiers for the bi-annual book sales
• Help set up for the book sales
• Pack up after the sales
• Hang flyers
• Help with the FOL Newsletter
• Sort books

What can you do to help? Join the Friends of the Goodnight Memorial library, volunteer for the book sales or simply donate some new or gently-read books! To join the FOL, please print out the membership form, fill it out and mail it back to us or bring it by the Library. To print the form, you will need a PDF document reader such as Adobe Reader.
